Swiss left seeks inquiry into disputed F-35 fighter-jet purchase

The Social Democrats plan to seek a parliamentary commission of inquiry into the purchase of 36 F-35 fighter jets, following revelations that Switzerland does not have the promised fixed-price agreement. The proposed investigation would examine procurement decisions, cost projections and information supplied by the defence ministry.
