Switzerland plans mandatory reporting of suspected organised crime

Switzerland is preparing to require cantonal and municipal employees, including land-registry, food-inspection and labour-market officials, to report suspected signs of organised crime. The proposal would expand the state’s ability to detect money laundering and criminal networks outside traditional law-enforcement channels.
