Fraud nearly doubles as crime rises in Switzerland

A new survey finds that fraud and other property offences have risen sharply in Switzerland since 2022. The share of respondents reporting fraud victimisation nearly doubled to 15. 9% in 2025, while confidence in personal safety declined.
