Revolut seeks Swiss banking licence after building 1.3 million-customer base

Revolut has applied for a Swiss banking licence as it seeks to expand its position in a market where it already has 1.3 million customers. Approval would bring the fintech under Switzerland’s domestic banking framework and intensify competition for established institutions.
