Zurich Zoo Celebrates Birth of a Baby Gorilla

Zurich Zoo has announced the birth of a baby gorilla, the first for mother Mayumi. The zoo expressed 'cautious optimism' as the birth proceeded without complications, and staff are now closely monitoring the critical first few weeks for the as-yet-unnamed newborn and its exemplary mother.
