Novartis reports tumours in children treated with Zolgensma
Novartis has received reports of tumours in nine children treated with its Zolgensma gene therapy. In two cases, genetic material from the therapy’s delivery vector was found in the patients’ DNA; both children have been treated and remain under medical supervision.
