Swiss Canton Donates Emergency Vehicles to Ukraine

• The canton of Vaud has donated ten fire and rescue vehicles to Ukraine.
• The donated fleet includes five 6,000-litre fire engines and two 3,000-litre fire engines.
• The vehicles are approximately twenty years old but remain in good working condition.
• The NGO Risk Reduction Foundation is managing the transport logistics through Germany and Poland.
• The first convoy departed during the week of April 28, 2025.
